Writing when you're grumpy

hey,
I didn't expect to write much tonight but I've had a bit of an emotional upset this evening (nothing major, irrational really but I'm upset nonetheless!) and although I'm going to bed now, I wonder if anyone has any tips for writing when you feel annoyed, or grumpy or just generally *meh*. I guess it's a bit early to be asking for tips for writing when you don't feel like it but it's never too soon to start!

thanks

Create a character to kill off?! I have no idea, but I know when I am feeling out-of-kilter emotionally my concentration is bung.

Like stephanielay, I am writing a lot out of sync, and I've got a rough list of plot points, so this morning I just jumped on the 'write the beginning of the train trip' point, and started there, because that's pretty basic and didn't demand much of the brain.

No killing - this is chick lit! It's all kittens and flowers. Not much by way of releasing cathartic rage, but I have a scene I can write, so I'll get on with a bit of that now. Whoo, look at me on LJ at work. Bet there's a red siren going off right now and the men in flak jackets will be piling down the stairs to *get* me. Oh joy. ;)
thank you. :)
